Initiativet skal modvirke frafald i starten af uddannelsen og st\u00f8tter s\u00e6rligt elevernes start i opl\u00e6ring. Elevnetv\u00e6rket har fokus p\u00e5 elevernes trivsel og aktiviteterne er elevb\u00e5ret og giver eleverne mulighed for erfaringsudveksling og udvikling netv\u00e6rk p\u00e5 tv\u00e6rs af hold og \u00e5rgange.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kort om indsatsen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I Galion-ordningen bliver eleverne matchet med udvalgte \u00e6ldre elever, kaldet Galioner. Inspirationen til Galion-projektet stammer fra universitets tutorordning, hvor galionerne gennem vidensdeling og sociale arrangementer introducerer de nye elever til opl\u00e6ringsstedet og social- og sundhedsassistentuddannelsen.<\/p>\n<p>Galion-ordningen best\u00e5r af tre indsatser; Introuge, introduktion til opl\u00e6ringssted samt efterf\u00f8lgende kontakt gennem blandt andet hverdagscaf\u00e9er. Ved uddannelsesforl\u00f8bets start arrangerer Galionerne en introuge for eleverne, med sociale aktiviteter og konkurrencer. Form\u00e5let er at de nye elever f\u00e5r mulighed for at etablere gode b\u00e5nd. Inden f\u00f8rste opl\u00e6ringsforl\u00f8b m\u00f8des Galioner og eleverne igen for yderligere introduktion til opl\u00e6ringsstedet.<\/p>\n<p>Det er kommunen, der udv\u00e6lger Galionerne blandt fagligt og socialt st\u00e6rke elever. Opl\u00e6ringsstederne og SOSU-skolen underst\u00f8tter Galionerne i planl\u00e6gning af aktiviteter og introduktionen af opl\u00e6ringsstedet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Effekter af indsatsen <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Indsatsen vurderes at have bidraget positivt til motivation hos s\u00e5vel nye elever og de \u00e6ldre tutorer\/Galioner. S\u00e6rligt har det vist sig, at erfaringsudveksling og relationsdannelse p\u00e5 tv\u00e6rs af alder og elev\u00e5rgange har en positiv effekt b\u00e5de socialt og fagligt &#8211; s\u00e6rligt for elever under 25 \u00e5r. I netv\u00e6rket er der plads til at itales\u00e6tte udfordringer og bekymringer fra de nyansatte elever. Men der er udfordringer, som vi skal have identificeret og fundet l\u00f8sningsforslag p\u00e5.<\/p>\n<p>Det overordnede form\u00e5l er at \u00f8ge gennemf\u00f8rsel blandt tosprogede elever i uddannelse. Eleverne f\u00f8lges ad i sm\u00e5 grupper p\u00e5 2-4 elever og er p\u00e5 et aktivitetscenter i deres bop\u00e6lskommune.<\/p>\n<p>Form\u00e5let er, at eleverne allerede i begyndelsen af deres uddannelse stifter bekendtskab med arbejdet som social- og sundhedsassistent. Det ene spor var rettet mod at kompetenceudvikle opl\u00e6ringsvejledere og SOSU \u00d8stjyllands frivillige mentorkorps. Det andet spor bestod af elevrettede aktiviteter med det form\u00e5l at styrke de deltagende elevers udtale og kommunikation. Disse aktiviteter d\u00e6kkede over b\u00e5de en individuel del og en undervisning p\u00e5 hold.<\/p>\n<p>Der var 24 elever, der blev screenet og vurderet egnet til projektet.
